Matt believes in creating the best opportunities for individuals, families, neighborhoods, communities, and organizations of all shapes and sizes to reach their full potential. His skills fit a wide range of needs, helping to remove barriers and accelerate equitable outcomes using Common Thread Group’s "being with" approach. Matt has been fortunate to "be with" communities across the United States, from small places in rural America to large coastal urban centers, providing knowledge and implementation assistance with change management, data and measurement, organization and community building, advocacy skill-building, and sustainability. His experiences include working with communities as part of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (100 Million Healthier Lives, Communities of Solution, Youth of Solutions), Rippel Foundation (ReThink Health), It's Time Texas (now Healthier Texas) and the Pueblo Triple Aim Corporation. Matt also has significant experience in early childhood adovcacy and policy development through authorship of the Pueblo County School Readiness Plan, Project LAUNCH Together, and creation and implemenation of local parent led advoacy groups. Matt holds Advanced Practitioner status with Team Diagnostic Survey (6 Conditions for Team Effectiveness), Certification in Healthcare Compliance, Certification in Healthcare Privacy Compliance, and completed the Region 8 Public Health Leadership Insititute.
